Ganesh Bhagavathiappan

Ganesh graduated Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Master of Physiotherapy in Musculoskeletal Disorders and Sports Physiotherapy from India in 2005 and 2007 respectively. Since 2015 he has been practicing MSK physiotherapy in Canada. He has gained extensive hands-on skills learning through experience and participating in various evidence-based practice continuing education programs.

He provides a comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment and treatment plan to his patients to identify the root cause of the problem, making the recovery faster within a reasonable amount of time. Part of his treatment regime includes education on injury prevention and activity modification. His hands-on approach includes soft tissue release, myofascial release (John F Barnes), taping techniques, and joint mobilization techniques, which are various concepts for spinal and extremity joints. He does Craniosacral Therapy from Upledger International Institute for patients with Post Concussion Symptoms, Acute Whiplash injuries, Chronic Pain syndrome, TMJ dysfunctions, Migraine, Stress, and Tension-related disorders.

He enjoys camping, biking, and hiking with his wife and two children. After a busy long day, he enjoys watching a movie.
