
Visalakshi Subramanian
Visalakshi is a dedicated Registered Physiotherapist and certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage therapist who completed her postgraduate studies at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in 2018. She was a university rank holder during her Bachelor’s degree in 2015. With over nine years of clinical experience, she has worked extensively with clients across a broad spectrum of conditions, including acute and chronic musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, neurological, geriatric, and lymphedema cases.
In addition to her clinical practice, Visalakshi has served as an Assistant Professor and as the Physiotherapy Clinical Outpatient In-Charge at a medical college in Bangalore, India. She is committed to continuous professional development and consistently updates her knowledge and skills to deliver evidence-based care.
Her comprehensive clinical experience includes the management of musculoskeletal and sports injuries, motor vehicle accident rehabilitation, workplace injuries, post-operative recovery, and specialized lymphedema management.
Visalakshi follows a client-centered, holistic approach to rehabilitation, focusing on individualized treatment plans that incorporate coping strategies, ergonomic education, activity modification, and functional training to promote optimal recovery and long-term independence.
She is multilingual, with proficiency in English, Tamil, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, and Malayalam, allowing her to effectively connect with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Outside of her professional life, Visalakshi is a nature enthusiast who enjoys learning new languages, listening to music, staying active at the gym, and spending quality time with her family.
