No. We do not offer refunds on gift certificates. If the original recipient is no longer able to redeem it themselves, we will allow it to be transferred to another individual. Please contact us to verify the transfer prior to booking an appointment.
Yes. We offer direct billing to most insurance companies, including Blue Cross, Canada Life, Desjardins, Green Shield, Industrial Alliance, Manion, Manulife, Sun Life, and more. Please bring a copy of your insurance coverage card (either physical or digital) with you to your appointment.
We cannot guarantee that your insurance plan is set up in a way that allows for direct billing. If you would like to confirm that your plan allows for direct billing, we recommend that you contact your insurance company prior to your appointment.
In most cases, we are only able to bill to your primary insurance. We are only able to bill to your secondary insurance if the secondary insurance company is Green Shield.
If your primary insurance only covers a portion (i.e., 80%) of your appointment fee, you are responsible for paying the remainder out of pocket. We will provide you with a receipt so that you can submit this to your secondary insurance for reimbursement.

Yes! We sell gift certificates by custom monetary amount (i.e., $50) or by treatment length (i.e., 60 minutes). You can purchase a digital gift certificate online through the “Gift Cards” page on our website or by visiting our clinic to purchase a physical gift certificate.
A gift certificate is valid for two years after its purchase date. After two years, the gift certificate has expired and cannot be redeemed.
No, we do not accept new clients who are on WSIB.

Please understand that massage therapists time is valuable and when you don’t show for an appointment it takes treatment time away from someone that needs care.
Please note that a minimum of 24 hours notice must be given for cancellation of an appointment. Therapeutic Streams has a three strike policy for “no shows” and “last minute cancellation” from patients. After you have reached strike two, you will be asked to pay before booking your next appointment.
